The optional tours listed below have been designed for participating delegates and accompanying persons of the ACP 2010 Conference. Only the best aspects of Melbourne and its environs have been incorporated to provide value for money for persons whose time is at a premium. To book for these tours please select your desired tour on the registration form.
Please note: Optional tours are not included in registration fees.
All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry & booking fees and meals where specified.
Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sunhat and sunglasses.

This four hour coach tour is designed to give participants an orientation of the city. The tour includes visits to points of interest such as Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne Cricket Ground and Olympic Park, Spencer Street Station, Federation Square, The Shrine of Remembrance, the Royal Botanic Gardens and Albert Park Lake and the Grand Prix site.

Penguin Parade to Phillip Island |

Phillip Island boasts two of Australia's greatest natural attractions, Seal Rocks and the Penguin Reserve. This late afternoon tour features the Fairy Penguins at Phillip Island Nature Park and the Fur Seals.
Depart Melbourne for Phillip Island, where the Little Penguins that nest there perform a “parade” every evening – emerging from the sea and waddling up the beach to their burrows. Be privy to one nature's most spectacular shows – a few minutes after sunset. The tour includes entrance to the Nature Park and access to the premium viewing area.

After lunch you continue on through the Otway National Park, to the rugged beauty of the Twelve Apostle National Park and the Twelve Apostles themselves is there really twelve? To Loch Ard Gorge, Port Campbell and finally London Bridge. Shaped by the wild Southern Ocean this coastline will not fail to impress.

All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on all tours are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment.
Please note that no space on Optional Tours will be reserved without payment.
Any cancellations of Optional Tours must be in writing to arinex. No refunds will be given for cancellations of Optional Tours after 22 March 2010. Prior to this date, full refunds will be given.
